This bright and airy home is on the ground floor and overlooks the communal gardens, lake and fountain. There is also a small private garden to the rear. Comfortably furnished in the English style you will have ample space to live and relax as the flat is a generous size – by central London standards.

Separate dining area with table and chairs for four.

A well equipped kitchen with fridge, electric hob and oven, microwave, washing machine/dryer and dishwasher.

Bathroom with bath and power shower over the bath.

Underground parking – please ask for current rates.

Housekeeping service with linen change once a week for stays of seven nights or more.

The home is a private residence and ideal as extended stay corporate housing or for a self-catering holiday. The property provider is a well established and professional London property management company who will be your point of contact and take care of you for the duration of your stay.

Area Description

Barbican is a vibrant and sought after area of central London and part of the business area known simply as ‘the City’ or the ‘Square Mile’. Lots to do to help you spend all that cash made in the City and keen shoppers can find anything from antique collectables and works of art, to local produce - Exmouth Market being a fine example and just a stone's throw away. You will also find many of London's finest restaurants, gastro pubs and Italian Delis in the vicinity so come prepared to shop, eat and generally have a good time.

Hand in hand with commerce and high finance goes culture and Europe’s largest art and conference venue is your neighbour - the renowned Barbican Arts Centre. This prominent venue is the home of the London Symphony Orchestra and hosts contemporary and classical music, Opera, theatre and innovative visual art installations.

In the immediate area head east towards Hoxton and the lively local street markets of Columbia Road flower market, Brick Lane, Broadway Market, Spitalfields and Pettycoat Lane. Much loved by locals, the area offers vibrant restaurants, music venues, bars and night life, as well as renowned galleries and museums - the Cube and Geffrye Museum being perhaps best known.

Or head south from your home and take a leisurely stroll through the City to St Pauls, over the Millennium Bridge to Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and lunch at the Tate Modern. Or head west and wonder around antique Bloomsbury, explore the wonderful treasures of the British Museum and pop in at one of the four Inns of Court to get a feel for medieval London. If you are feeling energetic there are many cycle paths along the canals which are great for poodling around on a lazy Sunday with a pit stop at the local pub.

Your choices are endless as the area truly has something for everyone. Lots of history to keep you fascinated plus a thriving nightlife to keep you entertained.
